Strato Air has flown to a broad range of destinations in and around South Africa, and currently our most regular flights are transfers between Port Elizabeth and Kwandwe Game Reserve. We also fly passengers in to Addo Elephant-Back Safaris, Samara, Shamwari, Scotia and Lalibela Game Reserves. Strato Air has worked along-side game reserves throughout the Eastern Cape flying in wildlife, such as cheetahs, hyenas and red-billed oxpeckers.

Flights across our borders include several holiday destinations in Mozambique such as Vilanculos and Inhambane with endless white beaches and tropical vegetation. We have also flown guests to Namibia involving low level flying through the imposing desert and landing on compacted salt pans. Our trip to Zambia consisted of grid flying across the entire area of the Kafue Game Reserve assisting in elephant counting. In 2005 we undertook the delivery of an Airvan to Kenya from Port Alfred. The flight took a total of 24 hours spread over 4 days along the magnificent variation of the South African, Mozambican and Tanzanian coast lines, and then inland past the majestic height of Mount Kilimanjaro and on to Nairobi just south of the Equator.

In 2006 we were honored to participate in the Warner Brothers hit film, Blood Diamond (nominated for several awards at the Oscars), where we were contracted to do fixed wing flying during filming in South Africa and Mozambique.
